Location: Melbourne, Victoria Type: Full-time Internship About the role: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Civil Engineering Intern for our client company. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to various civil engineering projects. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist with design, analysis, and project coordination tasks. Your Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects of all sizes and working on several projects concurrently Assisting in preparation of construction contract documents, plans, and reports Performs calculations using hand calculations as well as utilizing company developed standard software Collect and analyze data related to civil engineering projects, including conducting surveys, recording measurements, and organizing data for further analysis. Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in civil engineering through research and self-directed learning. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, architects, technicians, and project managers, to ensure effective project execution. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned Key Skills Required: Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, theories, and design concepts.
