Currently, our team working with one of the biggest names in Broadcast television is looking for a new Senior-level Mobile developer to assist in the build and maintenance of highly scalable mobile applications. In particular, we are looking for a mobile developer with expertise in building highly complex and customised C#, Xamarin Native applications, additional expertise in native iOS and Android applications is welcome. Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Build, Maintain, Improve our mobile teams core products Optimising solutions for performance, modularity and scalability Enhance User experience while ensuring compatibility with existing platforms Integration and development with backend services and API's Key competencies / attributes required: Strong familiarity with performance tuning and optimising mobile applications from the UI to the network layer Fluent English speaking Ability to communicate ideas to likeminded people The experience we're looking for: Essential - • 3-5+ years experience Android SDK (Java, Kotlin) • 3-5+ years experience iOS SDK (Objective-C, Swift) Desirable – • 3+ years Xamarin Native Development • Experience with MVVM Cross framework • 3+ years C# experience • Experience working with APIs and providing input to their design • An eye for UI/UX (to provide input back into our product) • Experience developing and integrating libraries/frameworks o Native o Xamarin Bindings • Experience coding with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related frameworks • Experience with build systems, scripting (bash), animation It goes without saying as a Senior Developer you will be able to mentor more junior members of the team, have excellent communication skills, and work collaboratively on design and development decisions within a team.
