We are currently searching for an energetic, motivated Account Manager to join our Team! POSITION SCOPE: The Account Manager is responsible for taking ownership and managing all aspects of account success, managing inside sales responsibilities and facilitating new business launches and packaging transitions. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Manage and minimize client owned inventory with the Planning and Production departments by creating and/or reviewing forecasts, updating forecasts and communicating same with customer Create any new presentations and arrange for sample products for meetings Liaise between specific clients and internal staff at Apollo as required Address, respond and follow up with Client inquiries relative to any aspect of the product lifecycle. Problem solves client issues, and cover off portfolios of other Account Managers during vacations or other absences. Travel locally as required. Address, respond and follow up with client inquiries regarding pre-development, first runs, artwork/sample status, shipments to the Sales team so they may communicate in a timely manner Maximize the sales of current SKUs and ensure in-stock levels are maintained at maximum levels at all times Manage all liabilities of all finished goods and components ensuring that strategies are developed to minimize any liabilities, including taking action in response to slow-moving product developing strategies to rejuvenate sales Research and accurately communicate category retail bid renewals to internal staff to ensure appropriate preparation has taken place Explore all areas of cross selling within currently existing formulation and packaging Log data and perform transactions within the Company’s ERP system Perform other duties as assigned
