We’re looking for a talented Senior Business Development Manager interested in selling to enterprise clients the platform for their global linguistic needs which includes the world’s best linguists, artificial intelligence, and human in the loop machine translation. Translated’s Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying companies who will value transparency, automation, and the best environment for translations to be delivered to drive a global future for all. Interested in working on a team with top talent in the localization industry collaborating to execute with both technical and operational skill, this could be the place for you. You will have to drive opportunities from origination through the RFP/RFI process with both elegance and perseverance. Experience and/or familiarity with the localization and translation industry is a must. Do you know many of the players in the industry and are comfortable meeting with and selling to senior localization managers? You will have the environment to excel on this team. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales role in the translation& localization industry Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environment Bachelor's Degree or above, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted Experience working as part of a team in an international environment Preference will be given to candidates who have experience within the technology companies and experience selling tools and services. Desired skills: Experience selling to Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple preferred. Candidate must be highly motivated, ambitious, and flexible Possess a high level of energy and integrity Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Take a proactive approach to their work in terms of being a self-starter, hunter mentality Excellent business focus: awareness of competitive environment, ability to continuously seek out new opportunities Creative thinker who takes the initiative to get tasks completed and investigates new ways of accomplishing goals Ability to meet or consistently exceed sales quotas High-level knowledge of commercial translation tools a plus Experience selling large, complex technical solutions to multinational companies Expertise with understanding and articulating technical concepts in areas such as software localization, testing, and multilingual publishing is a plus
