ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Build and launch a new React Native mobile app • Integrate with our application API • Implement new UI • Take ownership and accountability for React Native Apps • Convert product requirements into actionable and tangible items for all stakeholders • Overall Design - code, performance, security • Release estimation, planning and timely integration with other stakeholders (product, app, backend, ui/ux etc) • Performance fixes and optimization • JSON API design and finalization • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new best practices to maximize development quality efficiency • Mentor and do code review for other team members • Experience = 4+ years in mobile app development Skills • Solid experience with React Native and React. • Experience with building and releasing mobile applications across Google Play Console and Apple App Store. • Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle/Android Studio, IntelliJ. • Strong knowledge of different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. • Excellent working skills on native mobile application components like Intent, Service, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider and Content Resolver. • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. • Knowledge of Azure platform • Knowledge of integrating third party app monitoring software • Must have led and managed a team • Prior experience of working for a startup is an added advantage. • Good knowledge of Jira, Git and CI/CD • Should have released a minimum of 2 reasonably complex apps on Google and Apple app stores.
