Be an all-round IT specialist, so not focused on a single expertise. Have Azure expertise with minimal Azure Admin certification, IAAS and PAAS expertise. Have perfect Windows Server and/or Linux Server OS expertise (AD, DNS, LDAP etc.). Be a VMWare specialist, experience in P2V and V2V. Knowledge of network topology, ISO layers and firewall. Have program skills like PHP, Dot Net, Bash, PowerShell etc. Have SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.) Database expertise. Expertise on Storage Technologies (DAS, NAS, SAN & Cloud Storage). Be able to design technical migration solutions. Have Dockers and Azure Kubernetes knowledge. Be able to use tools like Wireshark etc. is a plus. Experience with private, hybrid or public cloud technology and Migration to Cloud. Should be able to advice on application & data migration strategies and influence Technical decisions towards best solutions. Assist with creating cloud migration strategies; defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans.
