B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. +5 years of experience. Strong experience in C/C++ Programming. Experience in Embedded Software Development and Linux/Unix OS. Familiar with scripting languages(Python, Perl, Shell, Tcl) is a huge plus! Basic knowledge of digital circuits and digital design/systems. And knowledge in RTL development using VHDL/Verilog. Familiarity with AUTOSAR standard is a plus. Preferably familiar with ISO26262. Responsibilities include the following: Drive business for Siemens EDA using hands-on technical expertise. Requires working directly with customers during product evaluations to ensure technical milestones are met. Will work on different simulation / emulation tools and platforms (Questa, Vista, Veloce Starto, Veloce Primo, Amesim, TASS PreScan, VSTAR, Matlab, VECTOR Cannoe, CARLA, …) Will be working with complex software applications and dealing with different programming languages (C++, SystemC TLM, Python, …) and different programming frameworks. Working on different operating systems (RoS, RTOS, embedded Linux, …) Will require Integrating Software and Hardware components and testing it at different levels of abstractions as per different customer use cases. Requires working closely with R&D and marketing organizations to make sure good understanding of different customer use cases, product operation and features, product future needs, … etc.
