Responsible for new technologies throughout the Technology Delivery Process (TDP) and/or Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP). Manages projects, gathers information, creates new concepts, designs and evaluates prototypes and prepares business case. Ensures that new superior technologies are utilized in products. Provides technical direction and leadership to Divisions. Recognized throughout the enterprise as a technical/analytical expert in a particular field. May perform Supervisory duties within the technical discipline. Applies in-depth and broad technical knowledge to provide innovative identification and resolution of problems in the development of products. *5+ years of professional software development experience. *5+ years of experience with embedded software and C/C++ programming. *Working knowledge of embedded operating systems, multitasking, IPCs, and memory management *Extensive experience with ARM microprocessors *Knowledge of compilers, linkers, and memory maps *Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills *Experience with embedded driver development *Experience with at least one of the following: TCP/IP, USB, CAN, SPI, I2C, RAM, FAT, Bootloader, flash memory *Experience with test driven development and software unit testing *Required to use version control and work tracking system *Experience with software build systems and continuous integration *Experience with full software development life cycle *Self-motivated and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
